FAMU NAA Distinguished Alumni Awards Black Tie Gala

FAMU NAA hosts a Distinguished Alumni Awards Program (DAA) in the NAA annual convention. The program is a very upscale Black Tie Gala Affair which includes a sumptuous dinner and dance. The purpose of this event is to recognize notable FAMUans that have made outstanding contributions in the field of Community Service, Communication, Business, Arts, Education, Military, Medicine, Athletics, Health, Law, Government, Music and Technology. Funds are raised during the preparation of the event for the purpose of providing scholarship dollars for needy students at FAMU.

The annual Fundraising Luncheon kicks off with the keynote speaker Denise Hendricks and lunch will follow with a parade of gifts in which donors present their monetary gifts to the various accounts held at the FAMU Foundation by region, chapters and individuals. Lunch will be served.
